As we continue through the 2020 camping season, we have some exciting updates for all of our users around the country and continent! We’ve been hard at work on exciting new features and improvements to the app for both iOS and Android users. Read on below to hear about our new features:
New Trip Information Fields: Campground Website, Campground Rating, TV Reception, & Interior Road Quality
We’ve added some new fields to all trips! Now you can easily store each campground’s website address (with an easy button to open the website), a 1 star to 5 star rating of each campground, the quality of TV reception at each site (can be used for over-the-air antenna channels or satellite reception!), and the quality of the interior roads within the campground.
Export Trips as PDF for Printing and Sharing
Many of you have asked for the ability to export trips from the app. While we have more export formats coming soon in the future, we have added an export as PDF button to all trips! Now you can easily create a PDF export of each trip so that you can print a copy of your information or share the PDF of trip details with your friends and family. Be on the lookout for more exporting features coming soon!
New Amenity: Lazy River
For those of you who have camped at a campground lucky enough to have an amenity such as a lazy river, you can now record that within the RV Trip Diary app! Check out the new Lazy River amenity.
Moved Campfire Ring and Picnic Table to Site Description
Previously, the campfire ring and picnic table checkboxes were in the Campground Description section of each trip. However, we understand that some sites at a campground may have these features while others have not. So, we have moved these two checkboxes to the Site Description section of trips. None of your data has been changed or edited, we have simply moved where these items appear on the app.
